Good Unit to Drive Sony Speakers?

I’m interested in buying the http://www.amazon.com/Sony-SS-B3000-Bookshelf-Speakers-Woofer/dp/B000OG6I6A/ref=pd_sim_e_3 (Sony SS-B3000) speakers; but I need something to drive these speakers. I want something that can input using TOSLINK from my PC, while connecting via RCA to my turntable; and have a few extra jacks for 3.5mm mini-jack. I don’t care if my speakers are analog from the driver, as long as it is digital coming from my computer, as my computer creates electronic noise in whatever I connect to it via analog. I also would like to have an equalizer on the front so I can adjust my settings. I would like to, at some point, expand to 7.1; so I would want expandability to this. So I would reckon I would need a driver that can supply at least 750 watts of power, but it should be efficient and only use electricity it needs.

well if your trying to connect a eq to a home theater system it might not sound as good as you want it to be on some systems so i would recommend a stereo system like a mini system or a self system most mini systems have toslink and sound better with better speakers and a eq so you might want to look into that instead of a home theater system or you can go check out this site for some audio components…

i hope this helps good luck

Edit: those amps are pretty powerful so if its says something like 300watt each channel don’t be fooled by the wattage its loud
