Is this a decent area for my .22 LR?
If so, I get the fixed or variable 4X/32 3-9/40? Are almost the same price. Currently, I only use my rifle in the range of target practice (I'm new taxiing, so shooting @ 100yds), but ultimately I like to go rabbit hunting. So is this a good area? Nikon is supposed to be good and I would like some <$ 100. 3-9x40 (seems to be out of stock): http://www.cabelas.com/product/Hunting/Optics/Riflescopes 7C/pc/104791680/c/104752080/sc/104535180/Nikon-Pro-Staff-Riflescope / 729045.uts target% = /? catalog/browse/hunting-optics-riflescopes/_/N-1100055/Ne-10000050 4x32: http://www.amazon.com/Nikon-Prostaff-4x32mm-RimFire-Classic/dp/B000AYH87E/ref=sr_1_2?s =- sporting goods ie = UTF8 & qid = 1292544066 sr = 1-2 and
I myself I would go with a 4x40. I see no real reason for a variable power 22 LR unless your eyes are not what they used to be ....... but having said that .... I think you can get the variable from now so that when your eyes start to go you will be ready:)
