Can anyone tell me the estimated price of a Nikon 1 1948 camera in excellent condition with accessories?
This camera does not have the dark individual leather case with it, but the other acciessories are present. It was bought in Japan and given to my father.
If you’re positive that you have a real, authentic, original Nikon 1, it’s hard to say.
Most indications are that there were well under 1000 produced, possibly in the neighborhood of only 700 or so.
The few times they have come up for sale on Ebay, prices have easily exceeded $4000. For one as complete as yours is, the sky is the limit-there are collectors out there who would literally give their right arm for it.
If you are considering selling it, I would strongly suggest that you seek out a professional appraisal and authentication.
