Photography, nobody wants to help me?

So I'm getting into photography. Since spring break. I love it, and I took some pictures pretty impressive, I must admit. OK, well I to get to the point, ya? I'm saving for a camera (or a laptop, can not decide. Help me decide, too? Pros and cons of each, please) and no I know what camera you should get. What cameras are good and cheap? I like Canon and Nikon, but I think they are quite expensive. I'm not talking about a camera common digital, just to let you know, I'm talking about the very, very good. And I must save for a laptop, so you can chat on the web and etc, or a camera? As I said, if you want help with my decision, please list pros and cons. Thanks!

A "very, very good" camera is only good in the hand of a really good photographer, so keep that in mind rather than waiting for expensive cameras do wonders. The camera on the link you gave is the Nikon D40, which is in abeyance. If you want to buy new, consider the Nikon or D3000 and D5000, or X Canon T1i or T2i. The more expensive models here, such as Nikon D5000 and T2i Nikon is obviously better, but low-end models are fully capable of excellent results, so really all depends on the photographer. In helping to make a choice between a laptop and a camera, nobody can. Up to you which one you need. If your unhappy with your current camera, get a new one. If you want your own computer or need an upgrade, get a laptop. Have fun and good luck!
