should i wait for a better HD video DSLR camera or go with the Nikon D90 ?
do you think HD DSLR cams will get better with time? how much better? is it worth waiting another 6 months or so to see what comes out? or do you think it will be a couple years or something until they get a lot better. should i just go ahead and buy the Nikon D90? and can you attatch a microphone to the D90? thanks guys

The reason why I got the D90 was for the HD movie recording.
It’s not the best, but it’s better than carrying a DSLR and a camcorder.
Also, downloading and editing on a camcorder file is a big headache.
If video is very important to you, then get a high end video camcorder.
But to me, photos is number one, HD video is important too because I want to record my children.
With the D90, you don’t have to switch cameras.
You don’t have to wait 6 months for a better HD DSLR, Canon 5D Mark II does HD recording and has auto focus just like a regular camcorder. D90 does not have auto focus on movie recording.
Can’t attach a mic to the D90.
Get the Mark II if you want all that for $2300 more. LOL
Don’t wait, it’s very limited in supply too.
I got the D90 a week ago and love it.
You do need to practice a lot on video recording due to the lack of AF.
I waited a few weeks and the price actually went up.
If you want it cheaper, you wait a few months after the initial release date. After that, the price usually drops a bit off the retail price.
Don’t wait, you won’t get it much cheaper unless you can wait until the next models come out.
Technology always gets cheaper and better, don’t wait.
