My Nikon Coolpix S3000 won’t power up or charge!?
My sister got this Nikon Coolpix camera for her birthday, it has rechargable li-on battery and as far as we know, she exhausted the battery before charging it.
The camera wasnt charged for about 2 months from when she got it!
So now, when she has tried, the camera wont power up at all.
The manual says when exhausted the battery may take up to 2 hours plus, it has been left for much longer and still isnt powering up.
The charging light also dont apear.
Would buying a new battery help? Or has it completely had it?

Sometimes when a battery has been run all the way down and not recharged, it goes bad. I think it would be worthwhile trying a new battery. Keep the receipt and packaging in case you need to return the battery.
