Pentax K1000 vs. Minolta SRT 101?
I already know most of the basics of photography opening / ISO / shutter speed / white balance ... you can check out my gallery flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ography4fun and I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ28 and I use the manual settings for my photography and I love the camera, but I get an SLR and I've heard good things about the minolta srt 101 and how great is the Pentax K1000 so, what is better? I should get? and cons and the pros? I have 15 years if it matters.
They are both good quality, old-style manual Slr Cameras. I've seen plenty of both since I've been photo teaching for over 15 years. I lean toward the achievement of the Pentax K1000. I like how simple the design of the Pentax camera and lens mount called the "k" mountain "is abundant and not just the brand Pentax, but many others use the" k "assembly" of his glasses as Ricoh, Chinon, and for a period Sears. They are also k-mount lenses made by respected independent lens manufacturers Tamron, Sigma and Tokina. Then I listed some links to web sites dealers who sell photo equipment used and I included links to Tamron, Sigma and Tokina. You can also try eBay and Craigslist to find a used supply.
