Minolta X-370 camera?
The light meter is what I see through the view finder, and i jst put in new A76 batteries and it is still flashing M and sometimes A, what does this mean and how do I use the light meter on this camera, and what should it look like before I take the picture?
any information please, thank you:)
Also, do they have to be A76 batteries?, because I just bought 303/357 batteries, and when I put them in it still turns on and shows the same M on the light meter
That’s the mode. A means it’s in aperture priority. M means you are in control of the shutter and aperture. To use it in A mode you roll the ring around the lens until a number lights up (the shutter speed) that you are happy with. 125 or 250 or 500 are better than 30 or 2. The lower the number is the more likely you are going to get blurry pictures. And yes, sometimes you just won’t be able to get it fast enough. There are solutions to that but that’s a lesson for another day.
