What component do I need to connect my laptop to a printer in a different room?

I CAN NOT use a Konica Minolta print server, because it does not support them. I used three different print servers, all incompatible. I connect two wireless laptops a device that connects to my printer (which uses a USB cable). I have to be able to print from both computers to the same printer.

You have to look outside the printer connection to a device that will allow the printer shared by multiple computers. can dedicate a computer (may be an old PC as a P2 with 64megs ram) and install the printer on the PC and allow printer sharing. Ohh will have to run and Windows 98 and later. The problem is that your team always has to be on for this printer to accept print requests. Unless the printer has an Ethernet port (you need a hub or router to connect to), then you are almost stuck with option 1. Good luck Cheers
