The Rebel – an article on Canon Rebel XTi
The EOS 400D, called Rebel XTi in North America, is a single lens reflex Digital Camera. Canon introduced this unique looking camera in 2006. It is the successor to the EOS 350D.
Canon Rebel thought to be the best entry level digital camera single-lens its kind in the market. It is priced under $ 1,000.00 which is affordable, especially when the target is included. It produces very good images with pure colors and clear. It is also very quiet.
They upgraded the CMOS sensor to an impressive 10.1 megapixels. Among the features we have added a larger buffer for continuous shooting, an image sensor integrated, vibrant and a cleaning system must be nine point autofocus system.
Canon did not stop there! Even better grip of the unit and gave us a good 2.5 "LCD with 230,000 pixels and a wider viewing angle, which replaced top status screen misconceived. The changes to the new Canon model has a tendency to underexpose the subject, while previous versions overexposed.
As a user of this model I have come to realize that if you remove your glasses or cover the display is largely confined to light between the unit and give an undesirable appearance. Sort as a filter for light. This is a bug in the calibration of the device and can not easily be fixed by updates.
I was impressed personally by the sensor as the camera has 10,500,000 pixels, RGB filter array, a function of low pass filter and a good aspect ratio 3:2.
Outputs three picture sizes that can meet most needs photographer:
3888 x 2592
2816 x 1800
1936 x 1288
The camera lets you save files in jpeg and raw form large files that gives you the ability to connect via USB, video and remote control for taking photos from camera to computer to print and / or editing.
Rebel XTi sells for around $ 800.00, but if you want the optional lens kit is advanced for the ride you will pay about $ 100.00 more. This lowers the bar for another $ 1000.00 10-megapixel cameras like the Nikon D80, which also sported in 2006. I have really wanted to upgrade to the 5.6 IS USM, which is the fastest standard lens Canon in production to date.

One feature that is revolutionary is the way it handles the camera sensor dust! The dust, Unfortunately, it is attracted to electronics. Canon, after years of denying the existence of dust can get on the camera sensor, finally, admitted it and took it!
Dust more or less evident from several sources, but is usually from fragments released by the moving parts inside of the camera. Before you take the camera had to clean it or use some sort of mini vacuum or blower.
Canon took over this problem by the implementation of the following:
* The materials used in the mirror box and shutter chamber which are less likely to generate dust.
* Improved body cap, again to not generate dust.
* Use anti-static layer on the surface of the sensor.
* Created a new separated anti-alias filter which vibrates to dust.
* Added a dust removal function of data that can map stubborn dust removed in the software.
All this helps Camera maintain healthy for prolonged use. You can smile as fellow photographers to make time for outbreaks to try and clean their houses while still happily snap away.
As I mentioned earlier, there are two separate versions of the Rebel XTi, but what comes in the box? And why not?

Unfortunately the only drawback I've found is that the camera did not come with a memory card. This may hamper its potential. So when you are buying keep that in mind. CompactFlash cards are pretty cheap these and depending on your needs and do what I did pick up a 1GB card. For technology leaders around the XTi Card Type I and II and up Microdrive. You can also pick up a CF card 50X or better.
I love photography and my work dictated the need for the kit lens that came so it. By getting the Canon kit also gets the second generation EF-S 18-55 mm in the table. Not the best start and can vary for small and unclear. I had little use for this because other lenses are quite nice.
The Rebel XTi uses the same lithium-ion battery than its predecessor. The energy value of the mass is group in the middle of her life with 10% less. Larger LCD has more power.
Personally I love this camera. I use it as a backup My professional installation program. If you want value for money and reliability, then I suggest the Rebel XTi. It has a great mid-range camera for everyday photography needs such as real estate agents, car dealers and family vacations.
