How do I transfer video from my camcorder to my computer?
It’s a Canon Elura 100 (tape, not digital). Can someone tell me exactly what I need to transfer video into my Window XP?
Help is greatly appreciated.
Page 104 of the user’s manual shows how to use the IEEE 1394 interface cable connected to your PC from the camera. That said, your PC will need to have a IEEE 1394 interface port (card). Those are cheap and you can buy them on-line (see link). You can use Windows MovieMaker to capture the video (see link).
