You may charge a Sony Cybershot DSC-W230 camera with a USB cable?!?
I have a Sony Cybershot and I have won my boot. there is a driver or software on the web that i can download to charge my camera using a USB cable? cuz i dont want pay $ 50 for a new charger. plz
You have a problem on 5 volt USB port is not regulated, nor is it able to control the loading rate to the battery Li-ion, temperature and other important factors when a Li-ion battery is charging. Add to this, the camera battery is a 3.7v battery. 5v as overheating, especially with the camera still. There is a reason-ion batteries are charged outside the camera ... keep it cool during the load. Think of the $ 50 insurance penance or allow for the original charger stolen. Do not do that again
